Application
A gear motor is a mechanical device used to increase/decrease by slowing down/increasing torque. It consists of two or more gears, one of which is driven by an electric motor. The output speed of the gearbox is inversely proportional to the gear ratio. Gearboxes are often preferred in constant speed applications, such as conveyors and cranes, where they can provide increased torque
The load torque of DC gear motor has a direct relationship with the speed and current, the speed decreases linearly with the increase of the load, and the current increases linearly. When selecting the specification, it should work near its maximum efficiency point as far as possible to obtain the ideal operating performance, working life and characteristic stability.
Generally, the use of DC gear motor environment and micro DC motor is the same, such as special needs, such as ambient temperature, overload conditions, current limits, etc., must be explained in advance.
Noise Treatment
Gear Motor is an important part widely used in mechanical transmission. When a pair of gears mesh, due to the inevitable errors such as tooth pitch and tooth shape, the noise corresponding to the gear mesh frequency will be generated during the operation, and the friction noise will also occur due to the relative sliding between the tooth surfaces. Because the gear is the basic part of the gear motor transmission, it is necessary to reduce the gear noise to control the gearbox noise. Generally speaking, the causes of gear system noise are mainly the following:
1. Gear design. Improper parameter selection, too small overlap, improper or no modification of tooth profile, unreasonable gear motor structure, etc. The pitch error and tooth shape error of gear machining are too large, the clearance of tooth side is too large, the surface roughness is too large.
2. Gear train and gearbox. Assembly eccentricity, low contact accuracy, poor parallelism of shaft, insufficient stiffness of shaft, bearing and support, bearing rotation accuracy is not high and improper clearance.
3. Input torque from other aspects. Load torque fluctuation, shafting torsional vibration, motor and other transmission pair balance, etc.
